CL-A Clinical Trial: Join Us In Our Fight Against Myopia

Studies suggest that low dose atropine and day time wear multizonal soft contact lenses can both reduce myopia progression.

In this study, we hope to explore whether a combination of both treatments can result in better control of myopia progression.

We are looking for clinical volunteers to help us with this study.

Child eligible for this clinical trial need to be:

  • Between 7 and 12 years old
  • Myopia (shortsightedness) between -0.75D and -4.50D
  • Astigmatism not more than -1.00D
  • Willing to wear contact lenses during the day and instill eye drops every night
  • Not currently or previously received treatment for myopia (e.g. special designed spectacles/contact lens, eye drops, etc.)

In the study, children will be randomized to 1 of 4 groups of treatment, and followed over 1 year.

If you are interested for your child to take part and wish to find out more, please contact +65 6322 4500 / 6322 4501 / 6322 4502 (Mondays – Fridays, 9am to 5pm).
