This drug commonly affects the effect of other drugs administered at the same time. Space at least 2 hours apart from other medications. Inform your healthcare professional if you are taking other medications. This includes but is not limited to some medications for the treatment of brittle bones (e.g. alendronate/risedronate), certain heart medications, medications for the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and warfarin. In some cases, this can be overcome by separating administration of these medications by an appropriate time interval. Seek the advice of your healthcare professional where applicable.
