Our Social Media Community Guidelines
Welcome to our social media platforms where we share healthcare information and the latest news from SNEC and SERI. To help ensure that online interaction remains meaningful and constructive for everyone, we regularly monitor these spaces and we ask that you follow these social media community guidelines when participating on our social media channels.
While we try to be prompt, we cannot always assure a timely response. We seek your understanding under such circumstances.
We are not able to facilitate medical advice on social media. Medical advice and subsequent treatment can only be rendered after a clinical assessment of one’s condition. Information posted by administrators, participants or any third-parties (e.g. commenters) should not be considered as medical advice. Any information posted on our social media platforms is not intended to replace consultation with qualified physicians or other qualified healthcare professionals.
All links to other websites from our social media sites, pages or groups are provided as a service to users. These do not constitute endorsement from us and we are not responsible for the content of external websites, pages and groups.
By submitting content to our social media pages (e.g. in the form of wall posts, photos, comments, etc.), you understand that this information is publicly accessible, and that we may use this information in our publications and other communications.
Please note that other participants may use any information/comments that you post. If you do not wish to have your information published or used by another party, please do not post it.
By participating on our social media channels, you agree to abide by the community guidelines stated above. We believe that the guidelines will help us to do our part in building an online community that is beneficial to all.
