Our allied health professionals work alongside ophthalmologists and nurses in a range of specialist roles to provide high quality, integrated eye care.
Each allied health professional (AHP) brings specialist knowledge and skills unique to his or her profession and plays a significant role in the holistic management of patients’ eye care needs.
Our AHPs provide a wide range of ophthalmic diagnostic, investigative, therapeutic and support services that are critical to patient care. From diagnosis to treatment and rehabilitation, they are empowered to make independent assessments and decisions on patient care.
At SNEC, we offer different career progression tracks to cater to the differing aspirations and strengths of individual AHPs. Specifically, our AHPs can choose to undertake research, participate in education or move into management roles.
