Profile
Dr Saadia Farooqui obtained her Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Medicine from the Aga Khan University, Karachi, Pakistan. She began her residency in Ophthalmology at the Singapore National Eye Centre in 2011. She completed her Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) from NUS in 2015. During her training, she was awarded the SingHealth Best Resident (Ophthalmology) in 2015. She obtained specialist accreditation in Ophthalmology in 2017.
Dr Farooqui is also a clinical lecturer with NUS and is actively involved in undergraduate education. She is currently undergoing subspecialty fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus.
